Trip to Rajasthan with private driver
If you are searching a reliable private driver to discover Rajasthan, we would like to share our amazing travel experience we had in 2018 in Rajasthan.
2 weeks that we will never forget. Our travel impressions will reflect all aspects of our experience.
Our private driver to discover Rajasthan
Let’s start with our driver, the best private driver we have ever had during our trips to India.
Sunder, an amazing driver, friendly, knowledgeable and always on time. Certainly, we appreciated a lot that he drove us safely throughout the trip, something very important during a trip in India with its chaotic traffic.
He was always very flexible. We have never been forced to make any visit or activity. We had always a complete freedom.
Our driver helped us a lot to choose good restaurants during the trip, something very important as well.
Our Hotels
All our hotels were really amazing and very clean. The one we appreciated a lot was the hotel in Bikaner, the Laxmi Niwas Palace, a real maharaja palace. It was an authentic experience.
Our hotel in Jodhpur, The Ajit Bhawan was also very nice with character. We enjoyed a lot our stay in this heritage property. Very professional service.
The hotel Suryagarh in Jaisalmer was perfect as well. Very nice staff and spacious room with all necessary amenities. Great swimming pool and beautiful gardens.
The Alsisar Haveli in Jaipur offered us a very pleasant stay. This traditional heritage haveli is the right place to stay in the pink city of Jaipur. It’s Indian, typical and authentic.
We regret a little not to have tried some overnights in Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur. It should be something special as well. However our hotel Trident Udaipur was also very good.
Our Highlights
We enjoyed a lot all our visits and activities, however we would like to specify that some of them must be explored by everyone.
The Taj Mahal in Agra remains the main highlight for us…
The Akshardham temple with it’s powerful architecture is something you should visit during your stay in Delhi.
The Jaisalmer fort is special as it’s a rare inhabited fort situated in the Golden city, which offers a nice opportunity to discover the local life.
Boat ride on lake Pichola in Udaipur in the evening a peaceful moment.
Brahma Temple in Pushkar, a rare temple dedicated to Brahma.
We enjoyed a lot our stay in Jaipur, it was probably the city we loved very much with its Palace of Winds, the City Palace, Galtaji and much more. The visit of the Elephantastic was very pleasant as well. Don’t miss it, once you are in Jaipur.
Certainly, we cannot forget about Varanasi. It’s another world, another atmosphere, nothing to do with Rajasthan. But it’s something that you need to see and feel to have a complete image of Indian traditions and lifestyle.
