Web development is a big field. There are two types of web development you can do which are frontend development and backend development combining both of them there is full stack web development. So you need to choose one or learn both types of development.

Frontend Development

First, we have front-end development. A front-end developer is responsible for the design and looks of the website. You can become a frontend developer if you need to be creative while designing the website.

In order to become a frontend developer, you need to learn these languages and technologies which are required to develop a website.

Learn HTML Language

HTML is HyperText Markup Language which is the most basic and important language of the website. It is like the skeleton of the website where you use HTML to create elements on the website like buttons, heading, forms, and more.

You need to learn the HTML language. It is compulsory for a front-end developer. HTML is not a programming language so it is very easy to learn and understand. You can learn HTML within 1 or 2 weeks.

Learn CSS Language

CSS stands for cascading style sheets. It is a styling language that is used to design HTML elements by adding color, background, font, width, and height. It is like the skin of the skeleton or HTML you may call it.

CSS is also not a programming language so it is also an easy language to learn. You can learn CSS within 2 or 3 weeks.

Learn Javascript Programming Language

Javascript is the only programming language you will be learning in frontend development. It is responsible for the interactivity in a website. It is used to add logic to a website.

Javascript is a programming language so it is going to take some time to learn it but it is a beginner-friendly language. You should learn it thoroughly. It can take you 1 to 2 months to learn javascript.

Backend development

You can also become a backend developer if you don’t want to do frontend development. Backend developer develops a backend where all the data which gets submitted is stored and API routes are created.

If a website needs to store data then they need to have a backend. To do backend development you need to know a programming language and a framework. There are many frameworks you can use but this which I am going to tell you is the best.

Learn Node Js

Node js is a javascript runtime environment that enables the creation of powerful backends with javascript programming language. You should learn node js because it uses javascript which you can use in both frontend and backend development.

Node js is very beginner-friendly. It has many libraries which you can use without writing much complex code. I personally prefer and use node js for my backend applications. So you need to learn node js which uses javascript language.
