Iceland begins to celebrate Christmas 13 days before the actual date. Children receive presents for each day, Santa Claus is considered to be an actual person distributing treats to good children. But if the kids haven’t behaved well around the year they have been gifted rotten potatoes as well.

12. Mexico

Christmas in Mexico is a time for family and togetherness rather than a religious day. Many believe to get together with extended families and friends. Few religious people attend the midnight mass at church, while others enjoy their day dancing, singing and enjoying the big feast.

India is also known to celebrate Christmas event with their family and friends. Christian families usually visit church and host a family gatherings.
